Don't forget the Blood Mobile will be here next Thursday from 10am to 4pm. remeber to eat something before donating. They will be handing out Big E tickets to anyone who donates so make sure to get your ticket and enjoy some good food at the BIG E!!!

Yearbook!

Just finished looking through the yearbook for my second time today.

Meg, you did a great job putting all of this together, all while helping our schools to put together yearbooks of their own.

So you think you can Dance/Sing?

For anyone who may be interested......I will be working a Karaoke/Dance gig on Wednesdays starting on Sept. 12th. At the old September's in Chicopee. We will play from 8:30pm till about midnight and I would love to see a lot of my friends from the G&B team out there. I will be a nice mid week, non-company sponsored get together. Hope to see you there?

6 Months and a Day

That's how long it took for Shirley's house to be razed. It finally happened yesterday (pictures to come soon), and Shirley said it only took 45 minutes for it to be knocked down. A little more cleaning today and they'll be all done. All that will remain is the foundation. Interestingly, all the wood has to be taken to Ohio for disposal.

Here's to new beginings with the start of Shirley's new home!

A Couple Low Scores To Report

Since everyone enjoyed Marc posting my golf score, I'd thought I'd put a couple scores up that I've learned about.

Marc shot a 37 (2 over par) last Thursday for 9 holes at East Mountain.

Gail shot a 45 (lowest 9 hole score) at Southampton, including a chip in for birdie from off the green.

Way to go!

Thanks to everyone who joined us for movie night. It was so much fun! I don't think we could have asked for better weather. Everyone pitched in and brought so much yummy food and drinks. (There are tons of leftovers in the kitchen--help yourself!)

A special thanks to Danielle, Michael, and Jason for all their help organizing and setting up. I couldn't have done it without them.

Thursday's Show Cancelled

As sad as I am to report this, I want to let everyone know that our show for this Thursday(Aug. 2nd at the Rumbleseat) has been cancelled. One of our members is in the hospital and we are unable to play w/out him. We would still like to go out for some beverages and friendly conversation and if you would like to join us, we would love to see you. Thanks to everyone who was thinking of coming out to support us.
